SAS Consultant

Location Vienna / Warsaw
Duties

SAS Consultant position is responsible development of reporting system in leading Austrian universal bank. Mostly processes are divided into phases (preparation, calculation, reporting etc.) programmed with SAS Data Integration Studio and SAS Regulatory Risk Management. The role requires work in client’s office in Vienna (at least 4 days/week). The project team works in Scrum methodology. Scope of the main responsibilities covers:

  • Maintenance, fixing and developing of existing SAS system to ensure structural integrity;
  • Developing reporting processes;
  • Work with product owners and requirement engineers to meet specification needs;
  • Overseeing the development, installation, and deployment of new system or application components;
  • Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code;
  • Perform routine software maintenance.
Required skills

REQUIRED:

  • Hands-on experience in provisioning, operating, and managing SAS environments;
  • Experience with SAS Data Integration Studio or SAS Enterprise Guide;
  • Additionally, experience with the following technologies and tools: SAS Management Console, SQL, GitHub, Unix Shell scripts;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • High mobility, readiness for frequent business trips;
  • Good command of English (daily communication);
  • Reliability and accuracy

 

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with SAS Regulatory Risk Management
  • Experience in projects for finance (banking) area;
  • Knowledge of German language.
